Eurotherm Seminar “Innovative solutions for thermal energy storage deployment” brings together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry, who are working in the rapidly expanding field of thermal energy storage (TES). The most recent trends in such areas as novel storage materials, advanced storage concepts and configurations, TES for renewable energy systems, TES in buildings and industry, use of advanced techniques such as artificial intelligence in TES, and social, environmental, and educational aspects. Theoretical, numerical, and experimental approaches will be presented for the entire range of applications, from material characterization to complete storage systems.
During the seminar, Dr. Gabriel Zsembinszki gave an oral presentation with the numerical results obtained from the smart control developed for the SolBio-Rev system.
During all the event, a roll-up describing the project was placed in the Europe’s corner dedicated to the EU projects to enhance visibility during the congress.
Moreover, Dr. Andrea Frazzica presented the project at the Europe’s corner workshop organised on May 24th where on-going European projects were presented and discussed, to find synergies and knowledge exchange.
25 EU-projects were presented during two parallel sessions, clustering them according to the specific topics. The session in which SolBio-Rev was presented focused on energy efficiency in buildings. The discussion after the presentation addressed the innovative solutions proposed by the project and the challenges faced in the implementation of the technologies in buildings.
