A hybrid event (physical and virtual) - Sustainable Places is a conference held every year dealing with all aspects of sustainability. The scope of Sustainable Places is captured directly in its name. It involves designing, building and retrofitting the places we live and work in a more sustainable way. Sustainable Places provides a platform for the dissemination of research, the conduct of workshops, EU project clustering and networking between stakeholders. SP2022 gathered 140 European projects representing somewhere between €500 million and €1 billion of R&D funding in sustainability.
SolBio-Rev was presented at a workshop entitled “Renewable H&C (Heating and Cooling) Solutions for Buildings and Industry”-3rd Edition”. Since different projects of the same research field were represented not only in this workshop but also throughout the event, opinions were exchanged and the chance was given to create mutual initiatives and to discuss specific aspects of the SolBio-Rev project. Concluding, the added value from the conference can be summarised as follows:
